It's been five years since an airplane surgery scandal marred the life of the unscrupulous, sleazy, cosmetic surgeon Sakisawa Takumi. Now Orihara Mami is going undercover as a nurse at his clinic in order to investigate him. There, she learns his work philosophy: Men only want to have sex with pretty women. So, for a woman, beauty is the most important thing in life. Even if you weren't born pretty, you can still be beautified through surgery, for a price. Mami is horrified by his glorification of physical attractiveness and tries desperately to convince him, his nurse, and his patients that a woman's personality and identity are also important. Since then, Akira lives his life like nothing happens until one day he's asked about his belief in god. While he gives out his answer, to his horror, he spot that mysterious man again. Note: The 2nd edition of this manga is included in the silk road series in 1993/94. It have a bit different ending from the original one.
